The former Premier League star was one of the best African midfielders during his active playing time, considering his dribbling styles and accurate passes.

Many Nigerians are even of the view that it will be hard for the Super Eagles team to get a replacement for Okocha in the national team.

Okocha's games for Super Eagles

Okocha played 73 times for the Nigeria national team between 1993 and 2006, scoring 14 times, and he was a member of three FIFA World Cup squads.

He is regarded as one of the greatest football players from Africa.

The former midfielder began playing football on the streets just like many other football stars, usually with a makeshift ball.
