Now PSG legend Ibrahimovic has slammed Mbappe after the French star signed his new contract at Parc des Princes.
"Kylian Mbappé did not make the right choice for him, but for PSG yes," the ex-Sweden international told French publication Canal Plus via Marca.
Ibrahimovic stated that Mbappe had put himself in a situation where he was bigger than the club after PSG 'gave him the keys' to believe so, but the AC Milan striker says no player is bigger than their club.
"There is a reason why Zidane is Zidane. Mbappe wants to imitate him? That he starts to want to progress. Not to be satisfied."
Mbappe is Ligue 1's highest scorer this season with 11 goals, playing as the pivot of PSG’s attacking trio including Neymar and Lionel Messi.
