Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo has made it clear that he is still nursing the pain of Nigeria's inability to qualify for the 2022 World Cup which will be held in Qatar.
Nigeria, who are three-time African champions lost the chance to appear in Qatar after losing the play-offs against Ghana.
Austin Eguavoen who was in charge of the Super Eagles for the play-offs and his wards played goalless draw with Ghana in Kumasi, but they were held to 1-1 draw in Abuja which helped the Black Stars.
According to the report on Complete Sports, Aribo explained that he is not happy with the fact that Nigeria will not play in Qatar.

Joe Aribo's statement
“I will say probably one of my lowest moments in football, not just because we are not going to the World Cup but in the manner it happened against Ghana.
“Of course, the rivalry, so there is just a lot to take in.”

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how famous Nigerian afrobeats singer CKay confirmed that he will be travelling to Qatar to perform live at the 2022 World Cup which is less than a month to kickoff.
CKay made this known while speaking with a reporter Joanna Gasiorowska who then shared the video of the interview.

FootballWhile answering questions, CKay explained that he has never visited Qatar before adding that it will be a good experience for his career to sing at the World Cup.
