Graham Potter suffered his first defeat as Chelsea boss when his former team inflicted an embarrassing 4-1 defeat on Saturday, October 29th.
The Blues were down 3-0 in the first half and were completely outplayed by Roberto de Zerbis' team. Raheem Sterling, an ever-present player on Potter's team, has been heavily criticised for his performance against the Seagulls.
Sterling was substituted just after the hour mark as his team was chasing goals and his performance wasn't excellent. The 27-year-old made a big move from Manchester City this summer but has yet to light Stamford Bridge up., according to Sky Sports.
He has failed to score in his last eight appearances for the Blues in all competitions. He last found the net in Chelsea's Champions League draw with RB Salzburg, which was Potter's first game as Chelsea manager.

Sterling warned about World Cup
Chelsea legend Pat Nevin has said the forward produced a poor performance and, on current form, he shouldn't be at the World Cup, according to the Mirror.
"If he keeps playing the way he is right now, he's not even a consideration for the World Cup. He is having a really really bad time and today he is having an absolutely terrible game."
Nevin, 59, said the England forward hasn't gotten better under Potter.
"I'm watching Raheem Sterling right now and I've said that Graham Potter has got the best from every player since he has been there, with one exception. Raheem Sterling."
