Famous Nigerian entertainer Poco Lee blushed when he spotted birthday boy Obafemi Martins who clocked 38 on October 28.

The former Super Eagles striker remains one of the best talents Nigeria has ever produced, as he is also among the richest footballers in the country.

Martins played for some of the top European clubs, including Italian giants Inter Milan and English club Newcastle United.

He also had stints in China, having featured for Shanghai Shenhua and Wuhan FC, where he last played before hanging his boots in 2020.

The former Rubin Kazan forward had been in the country attending to several of his businesses across the country.

He has recently been spotted at nightclubs and hangouts in Lagos as he also takes time to support actors in the entertainment industry.

Obagoal (King of goals), as he is famously called, was spotted when Poco Lee met with him.

The singer and dancer hailed the superstar with choice slang like 'Oba', Oba awon Oba' - meaning 'the king'.

Singer Portable meets Obafemi Martins

Nigerian singer Portable was enthusiastic when meeting former Super Eagle striker Obafemi Martins as the music artiste who was prostrated to greet.

He is ranked among the top five richest Nigerian footballers, and Portable is aware of this immediately after he met with the superstar.

As they exchanged pleasantries in Yoruba dialect, the ‘ZaZoo Zeh’ crooner cheekily told the 42-cap Nigerian international not to make a bank transfer – insinuating he wanted cash gift.
