Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham has caught the interest of English Premier League giants Chelsea, as the Blues are now vying for his signature for next summer.
Bellingham has impressed since moving to the Bundesliga and has attracted interest from several top European teams such as Liverpool and Real Madrid.
According to the Daily Mail, Bellingham has now emerged as a top target for Chelsea as new owner, Todd Boehly seeks to implement a new recruitment structure at the club.
Liverpool had initially been tagged as favourites to sign the 19-year-old midfielder, who has seen his value rise tremendously since he joined Dortmund for £25m from Birmingham back in 2020.

Bellingham made 105 appearances for Borussia Dortmund and scored 15 goals since joining the Germans, but is now expected to leave the club during the next transfer window.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann has publicly praised Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham, claiming the Dortmund star and his own star Jamal Musiala deserved the Kopa Trophy, Daily Mirror reports.
Nagelsmann faulted the award meant for the best young player in the world going to Barcelona’s Gavi, saying Bellingham and Jamal Musiala were more deserving winners.
Bellingham ranked fourth in the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d'Or awards on Monday and has been linked with a transfer away from Borussia Dortmund next summer.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Jude Bellingham is unwilling to extend his contract with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, following interest from European champions Real Madrid.
The England international has been heavily linked with a move to the La Liga giants, who are keen to phase out their current midfield setup of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
Bellingham is alleged to have fulfilled his word after Real Madrid instructed him not to extend his contract with Borussia Dortmund.
