When is Neymar appearing?
Neymar Jr and eight others appeared in a Barcelona court on Monday, October 17. They are facing fraud and corruption charges over Neymar's 2013 transfer from Santos to Barcelona.

Who are the 8 accused?
The Mirror reported that Neymar, his parents, former Barcelona presidents Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu, former Santos president Odilio Rodriguez, and representatives from both clubs are all charged.
Why are they charged?
Brazilian investment firm DIS, who owed 40% of Neymar’s rights while he was at Santos, claimed that his transfer to Barcelona was undervalued and that he was sold to the Spanish club without their consent.
CNN noted that the PSG forward spent approximately two hours in the court before the judge excused him from the rest of the day's proceedings.
When will Neymar testify?
Neymar is expected to testify on Friday, October 21. He, alongside the other defendants, have denied any wrongdoing in the matter.
Can Neymar be jailed?
The Brazilian firm want Neymar to be jailed for five years and also want the former club presidents to face jail time. Spanish prosecutors are pushing for a two-year sentence for the footballer.

Brazilian superstar Neymar could be set for a troubled few months ahead, as his transfer to Barcelona from Santos back in 2013 is currently being investigated for fraud.
Former Barcelona President Sandro Rosell and the Brazilian forward have been on trial in Spain over corruption and bribery on the deal, and their case now lies in the hands of arch-rival Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
Perez has been called as a witness to testify in the case, with his date set for October 18, Sports Brief earlier reported.
