The fan, who goes by Gooner Rue on Twitter, revealed he had received a heartening message from Arteta on his special day.
Rue accompanied his tweet with an image of a letter he had received from the Arsenal boss on his wedding.
In the letter, Arteta congratulated Rue on his wedding, sending him and his wife best wishes for the future.
"I understand that Reuben, you are a passionate supporter of our club and I believe that this union will be a great partnership as you start the next phase of your life," Arteta's letter said in part.
