Nottingham Forest have not been finding it rosy so far this season. They have only one win in nine games and are occupying 19th position on the Premier League table.

When did Emmanuel Dennis score?

The Nigerian striker netted in the 15th minute to give Forest the lead over their visitors, but it only lasted for seven minutes as Ashley Young restored parity for Aston Villa.

Dennis and his teammates must work hard in their subsequent games in the Premier League so as to move up from the relegation zone.

According to the picture the Nigerian shared on Twitter, Dennis looks good while hailing his fans.

Dennis started his football career at the Kwara Football Academy in 2010 where he spent six years before moving to Europe.

Emmanuel Dennis opens goal account

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian international Emmanuel Dennis was on the score sheet, in Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw with Aston Villa in the English Premier League on Monday night.

The newly-promoted Premier League side agreed to a £20 million summer deal to sign the Super Eagles forward from Watford this summer.

His goal against Villa was his first since joining the club. Dennis appears to have shrugged off pressure from the first few matches he featured in.

He made his first full league debut in August, as manager Steve Cooper had preferred his compatriot Taiwo Awoniyi upfront.

It was Dennis who headed home the opener against Villa, after meeting the ball from a delicious free kick courtesy of Morgan Gibbs-White in the 15th minute.
