Nigerian footballer Abba Yusuf Bichi has blasted famous musician Teniola 'Teni' Apata, claiming the 29-year-old singer disrespected President Muhammadu Buhari while receiving an award in Abuja.
On Tuesday, 11 October, President Buhari conferred the award of MON to Teni and other Nigerians for their contributions to the development of the west African nation.
Former Super Eagles striker Rashidi Yekini was also given a posthumous award 10 years after the demise of the Nigerian goal king.
At the awards night in Abuja, Teni walked to the podium, collected her award from President Buhari and walked away.

According to what Abba Bichi posted on his Instagram page, the former Nigeria under-17 star claimed Teni should have bowed to President Buhari.
Bichi reacts to Teni's 'disrespect'
''Orobo with zero sense even her excellency okonjo bowed down her head as a sign of respect to the president and commander in chief of the armed forces likewise other high-ranking government officials."
''Who are you not to respect the president? This is disgusting and disturbing. Yoruba people are best known for their respect for elders but it got to your turn and you decided to be arrogant.''
