Aguero compares Haaland to Messi
Aguero is one such high-profile personality in the world of football who has taken note of Haaland's scintillating goal scoring streak.
According to the Premier League legend, the former Borussia Dortmund star is already on course to become the Lionel Messi of the next generation.
Aguero cited Haaland's potency, athleticism and 'instinct for goals' as the three key things that will catapult the young forward to greatness.
"Speaking of Haaland specifically, he's got potency, athleticism and a particular instinct for goals, which makes him very dangerous. He's got everything to keep racking up amazing stats, especially being part of an offensively-minded team like City," Aguero said to Stake via Goal.
"That, in turn, means plenty of opportunities to score. He's young and has a lot of potential to continue breaking records. Key to this, of course, will be consistency," he added.

FootballPep downplays Messi-Haaland comparisons
Sports Brief had earlier reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has claimed that there can be no comparisons to Lionel Messi - as there is nobody on the level of the Argentina captain.
The Spanish tactician has been made to downplay the comparisons between the new Manchester City forward Erling Haaland and the Paris Saint-Germain forward.
Haaland has netted 19 times in just 12 appearances for the Citizens in what is described as one of the best starts for a striker, but Guardiola believes the forward is nowhere near Messi’s quality.
