Erling Haaland has caused so many ripples in English football that a fed-up fan has started a petition to have the Norwegian banned from Association Football.

The 22-year-old only joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer but has adapted to the demands of the league seamlessly, netting 20 goals in his first 14 games across all competitions.

This included three back-to-back home hat-tricks in the Premier League, putting him miles ahead of other stars in English top tier.

His latest goal haul was a brace in the Champions League against FC Copenhagen, and he could have scored more had Pep Guardiola not decided to take him off.

What is certain is that Haaland is a nightmare for defenders at the moment, and one fan is not willing to take any chances with the former Borussia Dortmund man.

The fan in question has taken to hilarious measures in order to stop Haaland, having filed a petition to have the striker banned from Association Football.

"It's just simply not fair," user Ten Hag’s Reds! wrote on the Change.org page. "We can make a change. Now is the time for us people to act. This robot should not be allowed to carry on in our country."
