This is after he was captured on camera playing an incredible ankle heel pass into Neymar while lying on the ground.

According to The Sun, Messi was attacking when he was pushed to the floor by former Southampton star Mario Lemina.

However, he was keen not to lose possession and fought on using his ankle to flick the ball onto his laces.

Incredibly, he was still able to play a pass to team-mate Neymar to keep the play alive.

The icing on the cake on Mess's brilliant performance came in the 29th minute when the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner scored a show-stopping free-kick.
