Pollen Ndlanya is in good health.
This is despite reports online stating he was in a poor condition that had left him bedridden. Apparently, he had lost a lot of weight and was fighting for his life.
Speaking to the Daily Sun, Ndlanya, the former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates goal-getter, responded:
"That is absolute rubbish. There is no such thing. I just wonder who could be spreading all these lies about me. It must be someone who indeed wants to see me down and out, or even dead."

Addressing other rumours suggesting he was in dire straits financially, Ndlanya said:
"People get bored and spread nonsense. I'm a hustler like everybody. I am pushing my own businesses. Yes, like many others, business isn't that healthy due to Covid-19, but I am financially okay."
The rumours were reported in the online publication Zimoja.
