Germany forward, Thomas Muller feels largely disappointed with his country’s outing at this year’s UEFA Nations League, but expects the 4-time World Champions to bounce back stronger.
Germany finished third in their Nations League group behind Italy and Hungary, following a 3-3 draw at the Wembley Stadium against England on Monday, September 26.
Muller is highly optimistic Germany will bounce back stronger and has now urged his teammates to draw inspiration from Real Madrid’s recent successes under Carlo Ancelotti, Daily Mirror reports.

"Maybe Real Madrid is an example to us. I've played for a lot of coaches, including Carlo Ancelotti, who has won the most trophies.
"After things that don't go well, it's all about getting back up and keeping your confidence. We'd do well to follow that."
Thomas Muller played under Ancelotti when the veteran Italian manager was coach of Bayern Munich between 2016 and 2017, leading the club to the Bundesliga title in his only season.
Muller points out Germany’s issues in Nations League
Meanwhile, Thomas Muller has admitted that Germany made too many mistakes as a team and as individuals after a disastrous UEFA Nations League campaign, SB Nation reports.
The Bayern Munich forward was among the players who were not exactly sharp in Germany’s 1-0 loss to Hungary and also in their 3-3 draw against England at the Wembley Stadium.

Thomas Müller’s home broken into by robbers
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Thomas Müller had a bittersweet 33rd birthday.
The German forward was a part of the Bayern Munich side that beat Barcelona 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League but also returned home to find that his house was broken into.
Cash, jewellery and other valuables were stolen from Müller’s home while he was still playing at the Allianz Arena.
