Sadio Mane’s sudden dip in form is beginning to worry some Bayern Munich supporters and one of them is the club’s former defender Phillip Lahm.
Mane has failed to score in his previous 7 games for the Bavarians, after netting four times in his first few games when used in the number 9 role by Julian Nagelsmann.
According to Fansided, Lahm has now blamed Mane’s recent poor performances on his recent role switch from a central position to the wings and wants the Senegalese role properly defined.

“Mane’s qualities are out of the question. But it’s crucial that roles must be clearly assigned. I don’t see that at the moment. I currently don’t understand how the roles are defined. Everyone has to know what they have to do on the pitch.”
Lahm advised that Sadio Mane is returned to the number 9 role at Bayern Munich as he thrives best in that position than any other position.

The Bavarian giants have failed to win in their last four games, and new signing Sadio Mané has also failed to find the back of the net in the past four games in the Bundesliga.
Mané started his new chapter in Germany in fantastic fashion, as he scored three goals in the league in his first three games. Since then, he's only scored twice more in all competitions.
