Antoine Griezmann’s Barcelona contract details has been leaked to the public, 3 years after the Frenchman signed a lucrative deal with the Catalan giants.

The 2018 World Cup winner had penned a 5-year deal with Blaugrana but had to be loaned back to Atletico Madrid after struggling to settle into life at Camp Nou.

According to Barca Universal, Griezmann was guaranteed €98million gross salary in those five years without tax or other contributions upon signing a five-year deal with Barcelona.

Meanwhile, in an effort to end Antoine Griezmann's present predicament, Barcelona is racing to complete a $22 million agreement that will see the Frenchman join Atletico Madrid permanently.

If during his two-year loan with Atletico Madrid Griezmann plays in 50% of their matchups, Atletico Madrid must pay Barcelona £35 million, Daily Mail reports.

Barcelona initially fought tooth and nail to get the entire £35 million back for the striker, but the cash-strapped club is now content to take the reduced cost of £22 million.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have finally decided to find an amicable solution to Antoine Griezmann’s predicament this season.

Griezmann, who is on a two-year loan from Barcelona to Atletico Madrid, has only made substitute appearances this season for a total of fewer than 30 minutes each time.

Atletico Madrid will be forced to pay Barcelona €40m to purchase Griezmann on a permanent basis if the Frenchman plays 50% of games for Diego Simeone’s men.
