  • Although Thomas Tuchel is credited for reigniting Antonio Rudiger's career which was on the nosedive under Frank Lampard, the German defender believes Carlo Ancelotti's man management style is special
  • Rudiger, regarded as one of the tough-tackling defenders in the modern game, traded Chelsea for Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer
  • The former Stuttgart defender is yet to establish himself as a starter in Ancelotti's starting lineup but has played a bit-part role in Madrid's 100 percent start to the season

Antonio Rudiger has heaped praises on Carlo Ancelotti, describing the Real Madrid manager as 'untouchable' while crediting him for his smooth transition at Santiago Bernabeu.

Rudiger completed a four-year deal to Real Madrid this summer, ending his five-year stint with Premier League club Chelsea.

Although the 29-year-old Germany international is yet to establish himself as a regular in Ancelotti's starting lineup - starting four games played this season - he has credited the Italian for his amazing man management.

He told German outlet Sport1: "I had only been in our new house with my family for a few hours – we were just barbecuing – and the doorbell suddenly rang.
"I opened it and Carlo Ancelotti was just standing in front of me. A wow moment. He sat down at the table with us, ate with us and got to know my family.
"Very normal, very down-to-earth. He was there for two hours, we talked about everything.

"I’ll be honest, I’ve never experienced anything like it, no coach has ever done something like that for me. After a few months with him.
"I have to say: When it comes to dealing with players, Ancelotti is untouchable. Stop Don Carlo, a coaching legend – he already collected Champions League titles when I was a child.
"Working with him every day now and at the most successful club in the world is wonderful."

Rudiger sheds light on the moment Real Madrid wrongly spelt his name

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Antonio Rudiger has revealed that there was a spelling mistake on the Santiago Bernabeu board with his name on his official home debut.

The 29-year-old penned a four-year contract with the Spanish giants as a free agent from Chelsea in the summer.

He played his first home game as a second-half substitute for Los Blancos in their 2-1 victory over Real Betis on September 3.
