Antonio Rudiger has revealed that there was a spelling mistake on the Santiago Bernabeu board with his name on his official home debut.
The 29-year-old penned a four-year contract with the Spanish giants as a free agent from Chelsea in the summer.
He played his first home game as a second-half substitute for Los Blancos in their 2-1 victory over Real Betis on September 3.
Prior to his introduction, the board printed the Germany international's name as 'Rudiguer'.

Translated by Tribuna, German outlet Sport1 asked the former Chelsea defender how he felt about it.
"My little cousin drew my attention to it," Rudiger said of the incident.
"He sent me a photo of my locker and asked: "Toni, what's going on there?" I forwarded this directly to our team manager - with the note that you're welcome to omit the 'U'.
"He then apologized to me 1000 times. But like I said, that wasn't a problem for me. I had to laugh about it myself," Rudiger added.
Rudiger has played in all 9 Real Madrid games so far, helping the team keep 3 clean sheets and scoring once.
