The club will attempt to propose a trade with their London rivals that will see Romelu Lukaku go the other way. Lukaku is still a Chelsea player currently on loan at Inter Milan.

The Belgian signed a five-year deal when he joined Chelsea last summer. He, however, fell out with the then head coach Thomas Tuchel and the fanbase prompting him to force a move back to Milan.

Chelsea now want to use him to lure Spurs to let go of Kane. The Sun reports that the Todd Boehly-owned side will offer Lukaku plus cash for Kane.

It is highly unlikely that Spurs CEO will be willing to negotiate with a London rival to sell his best player. The England captain is currently under contract until 2024 and there are chances that he might fail to renew his contract.

Kane is also on the radar of Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have already made a proposition to Kane as they want him to be a successor to Rober Lewandowski, who left for Barcelona.

Spurs' boss Antonio Conte's relationship with Lukaku could play into Chelsea's hands, but Lukaku is happy at Milan. There is a deal in place to extend his loan spell by a further year as the two clubs continue to discuss a permanent transfer.

Boehly showed in his first window in charge that he is not afraid to splash the cash on the club's top transfer targets.

Romelu Lukaku posts cryptic messages after leaving Chelsea

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Romelu Lukaku once again posted another mysterious message after scoring for Inter Milan.

Lukaku needed just 81 seconds to score for his new side on his second debut after a disappointing spell at Chelsea.

The Belgian left Milan last summer for Chelsea, looking to carry his prolific form to London. He penned a five-year contract at Chelsea in a club-record fee.
