Former Super Eagles Winger Emmanuel Amuneke Bags New Foreign Coaching Job

Former Nigerian international Emmanuel Emuneke has been appointed as the head coach of Zambian Super League club Zanaco.

The club confirmed that his compatriot Emeka Amadi will serve as his assistant ahead of the new Zambian Super League.

Punch reports that a statement on the club’s website confirmed the Nigerians were appointed as consultants to the football club.

“The Board and Management of Zanaco Football Club is delighted to announce the recruitment of Mr. Emmanuel Amuneke and his Assistant Mr. Emeka Amadi as Consultants to the Coaching bench of Zanaco Football Club.
“The Board of Zanaco Football Club is confident that Mr. Amuneke’s coaching experience will add value to the Technical Team and the Club as a whole.
“The Board of Zanaco Football Club looks forward to working with Mr. Amuneke and his Assistant in ensuring that the Club achieves its aspirations.”

Amuneke was a member of the Super Eagles side that won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia.

Zanaco last won the Zambian league title in 2016.

Sunday Oliseh shows off his farm yard

Meanwhile, former Nigerian international Sunday Oliseh has flaunted his farm produce on social media as he expresses delight over his new achievement.

The former Super Eagles captain became famous following his incredible goal against Spain after helping Nigeria to defeat the Europeans 3-2 at the 1998 FIFA World Cup.

Oliseh branded his farm as ‘Amazon-like’ as he showed off vegetables and other crops that looked fresh.

He shared a picture of himself carrying a little bowl filled with different colours of tomatoes.

Nike releases new Super Eagles kits

Sports Brief earlier reported that global kit manufacturing company, Nike, has released brand new jerseys for the Super Eagles and other Nigerian national teams.

The American company unveiled the jerseys and kits on Thursday, September 15, as the new apparel was designed in the country's national colours, green and white.

Nike and Adidas have been manufacturing jerseys and kits for Nigeria since the 1990s, and the latest design by Nike looks amazing.
