Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has thrown his weight behind Vinicius Jr ahead of the Madrid derby on Sunday, September 18.
Vinicius Jr has come under intense backlash for his goal celebrations ahead of the looming Madrid derby against Atletico.
The Real Madrid star has had a blistering start to the season, scoring four times in just five La Liga outings, continuing from where he left off last season.
Despite his undoubted quality and red-hot form, the Brazilian winger has received some stick for his dancing goal celebration, which he has been forewarned by Atletico Madrid captain Koke.

Koke sounded a word of caution to Vinicius, suggesting if the 22-year-old forward embarks on his now iconic dance celebration, he might face some trouble from the Atletico fans.
The Atletico midfielder is not the only renowned figure to have spoken against Vini's celebration, with Pedro Bravo, President of the Association of Spanish Agents, calling out the Madrid talisman for dancing.
But Vinicius' international teammate, Neymar, who recently received a yellow card for his goal celebration in midweek, has thrown his weight behind the Madrid winger.
Neymar took to Instagram to urge his compatriot to enjoy himself on the field amid growing criticism.
