Lacazette to undergo surgery
Former Arsenal striker Lacazette is set to undergo vocal cord surgery to correct his voice which appeared to be squeaky in an interview after Lyon's match in Ligue 1 according to L'Equipe.
The 31-year-old, according to the French source, is believed to have had this issue, something which has not prevented him from representing the French giants.
The Frenchman decided to do the surgery during this period because of the international break. Therefore, he will have ample recovery time and will be required not to speak for a while after the surgery.
Lacazette left the Gunners to return to Lyon this past summer. He joined the North London side in 2017 and had a relatively decent spell. He netted 71 times in 206 appearances for the Premier League club and won the FA Cup with them in 2020.
This season so far in Lyon colours, he's scored four goals in seven games. In total for the seven-time Ligue 1 champions, he has scored 133 goals and provided 44 assists in 210 appearances.

Although he seemed okay, Lacazette soldiered on with the interview and it looked like he didn't care about the sound of his voice.
Although some fans on social media mocked him by comparing him with the animation character mickey mouse, others praised him for doing the interview with that voice.
