Federico Valverde scored a superb goal again to help Real Madrid with a 2-0 victory over RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.

The Uruguay international gave Los Blancos an 80th-minute lead from Vinicius Junior's pass.

The versatile midfielder showed great self-command to coolly outwit a defender with brilliant footwork on the edge of the area before bending a beautiful effort in the far bottom corner of the net.

Substitute Marco Asensio then netted the second goal in added time after Toni Kroos pulled a short free-kick back to the edge of the box.

But Valverde's celebration after his goal goes far beyond a simple temporary moment of madness for his team.

In a video posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, the 24-year-old screamed like a madman until he's breathless.

Valverde's passionate celebration as got some fans of Real Madrid talking on social media as he led Carlo Ancelotti's side to victory with a goal full of power and quality.

The UEFA Observers Panel named Valverde Player of the Match in Madrid's victory over Leipzig.

“I'm starting to think I'm left-footed. I'm delighted the team has won the game," he told Real Madrid's official website.
"This is another step towards our goals. There's a long way to go, it's just the second Group Stage game, but it's important to win it."
