Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez has admitted that his side should have conceded a penalty against Barcelona in their UEFA Champions League clash on Tuesday.
While Leroy Sane and Henandez scored in the second half to secure victory for the Bavarians, there was a controversial incident that should have gone Barca's way in the first period.
Ousmane Dembele was brought down in the area by Alphonso Davies after he went on a dangerous run from the right flank.
The Bayern left-back appeared to have hit the Frenchman on his feet, however, the referee did not point to the spot nor did the VAR intervened to overrule the decision even though it looked like a clear penalty on replays.

Lucas Hernandez, who opened the scoring for the Bavarians admitted after the game that it might have been a penalty on Dembele.
“It was a penalty for the foul on Dembele,” he told former referee Iturralde Gonzalez, via Barca Universal.
Former referee César Barrenechea Montero opined there was a contact in the box, via Barca Universal.
"The play is very clear. Dembélé wins the position and Davies trips him inside the box. It's a clear penalty. It's not a 'little' penalty either, it is very clear. I don't know why the ref nor the VAR check the play again, incredible."
