Upamecano quickly shut down the Polish striker, and the ball went out of play. Lewandowski then blasted another attempt over the bar as he latched onto a long ball and beautiful controlled it before taking a shot.
The former Bayern Munich man then had a hat-trick of missed chances as his third attempt was blocked by substitute Noussair Mazraoui.

Lewandowski wasn’t the only Barca player to miss chances. Pedri and Raphinha both wasted chances in a first half that Barcelona dominated. Bayern had chances few and far between but never looked likely to score. Their first shot on target came in the 26th minute, but that was far from threatening.
That all changed in the second half, though. Following an early shot by Raphinha, Bayern entered beast mode and scored two goals in five minutes.
Lucas Hernández first headed home from a corner to give the home side the lead before Leroy Sané produced a moment of skill to slide the ball past an onrushing Marc-André ter Stegen calmly.
Pedri had Barcelona’s best chance of the second half to pull a goal back after some fancy footwork on the edge of the box. When the youngster finally got the ball back again in the centre of the box, his chipped effort beat Neuer but failed to find the back of the net. Instead, the ball hit the post and bounced out of play.
