Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Thomas Tuchel's 19-month relationship with Chelsea was brutally brought to an abrupt end following his side's disappointing loss in the Champions League against minnows Dinamo Zagreb.

Tuchel immensely became very popular with the supporters during his stint at Stamford Bridge, where he managed to turn a disjointed Chelsea team to win the Champions League in a space of four months.
