It’s the end of the road for Domenico Tedesco at RB Leipzig.
The Italian manager was sacked following another disappointing showing, this time in the UEFA Champions League.
Leipzig were beaten 4-1 by Shakhtar Donetsk in German, piling on more misery for Die Roten Bullen.
The defeat came on the back of Leipzig’s 4-0 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt over the weekend. Leipzig have endured a tough start to the season. They have played five games in the Bundesliga, winning just one, drawing two and losing two.

The club took to social media to announce the decision to part with the coach. Tedesco's assistant coaches also left the club.
Leipzig’s Managing Director Oliver Mintzlaff confirmed that the decision was not an easy one, the Bundesliga website reported.
“After a modest start to the Bundesliga season with five points from five games, and especially after the games with Eintracht Frankfurt and Shakhtar Donetsk, we lack the conviction that an immediate turnaround can come in the current setup,” Mintzlaff explained.
An interim manager has yet to be appointed by the German club.
