Ghana legend John Mensah has revealed that it's difficult for him to forget the Black Stars' defeat to Uruguay at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The four times African champions were just a kick away from making the last four when Luis Suarez stopped a goal-bound strike from Dominic Adiyiah with his hands.
Asamoah Gyan missed the penalty awarded Ghana, forcing the game to be settled from the spot.
John Mensah, one of the players to miss during the penalty shootouts, disclosed he is yet to get over that famous defeat at the Soccer City stadium in 2010.

“It’s very difficult for me to forget about our game against Uruguay, the kind of support we had from the whole continent and Suarez denied us, I can’t forget about it," the former Sunderland player said on Max TV.
John Mensah had a great tournament, leading the team to the last eight of the competition.
The 39-year-old retired in 2016 after a stellar career abroad, where he played for Genoa, Modena, Chievo Verona, Olympique Lyonnais, Sunderland and Stade Rennais. He last played for AFC Eskilstuna in Sweden.
John Mensah played 86 times for Ghana, scoring three goals for the national team.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Asamoah Gyan is hoping for the opportunity to make amends after his penalty miss at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa against Uruguay.
The 36-year-old has disclosed his desire to play at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.
And with Ghana set to face nemesis Uruguay in group H, Gyan dreams of revenging the painful defeat 12 years ago.
