Impressive West Ham United striker Jesse Lingard has reacted to his side’s 2-1 loss to Premier League leaders Manchester City on Saturday, February 27.
The Manchester United loanee has been in blistering form for the Hammers since he left the Old Trafford club.
Manchester City continued their unbeaten run in the Premier League after they narrowly beat West Ham United by 2-1 at the Etihad.
Two of City's center-back Ruben Dias and John Stones scored in each half of the game as Mikhail Antonio got the Hammers' only goal.
Jesse Lingard had another good game for West Ham as he was at the centre of everything they did going forward and got the assist for Antonio's goal.
Since making his debut for the club, Lingard who flopped at Manchester United has scored three goals for the Hammers and registered one assist.
After the game, he wrote: “We gave everything, felt like we deserved more but top team performance proud of the boys.”
Meanwhile, with the victory, Pep Guardiola has now picked up his 500th victory in charge of a top-flight side in all competitions.
The Spaniard guided Spanish club Barcelona to 179 wins during his time in charge at the Camp Nou outfit.
