- Super Eagles team B will be hosting the Black Stars of Ghana this coming Sunday in the CHAN qualifiers
- The Nigerian team led by coach Salisu Yusuf did not get a good result in the first leg losing the encounter 2-0
- And ahead of the return leg at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja, coach Salisu Yusuf explained that his wards are ready
Salisu Yusuf, who is the head coach of the Super Eagles team B, has stated emphatically that his wards are now aware of Ghana's strength and capability ahead of the CHAN second leg qualifiers.
Last Friday, the Super Eagles team B travelled to Cape Coast for the clash against the Black Stars which they lost 2-0 as the likes of Andy Okpe and Afeez Nasiru were unable to shine.
Before the encounter, Salisu Yusuf explained that the Super Eagles would try to get a decent result against their big rivals, who are now one leg in picking the ticket for the 2023 CHAN.
As things stand now, Salisu Yusuf and his boys will have to record a 3-0 win in the return leg against Ghana when they meet in Abuja on Sunday, 3 September.

According to the reports on Best Choices and Sun, coach Salisu Yusuf is optimistic that his wards can still turn things around against Ghana in Abuja.

“We have an idea where they have strength as a team and we will seek how we can restrict their strength and explore their weaknesses.
“Football is a game of 90 minutes and we must look to over turn the two goals we conceded.
“The team needs to work even harder than we did in the short time we had to prepare for this game. We have to turn things around in Abuja.”

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian international Ogenyi Onazi joined Italian fourth division side Casertana after a protracted transfer wait.
The former Lazio star was recently seen training along side Super Eagles B and featured in a friendly before he jetted out to Italy to team up with his new side.
It was gathered that the 29-year-old decided to make the move as he continues to target an Italian passport.
Onazi last played at Al Adalah FC of Saudi and was also at Zalgiris in Finland.
