Dortmund scored the only goal of the game after French striker Modeste nodded home a cross from Salih Ozcan in the 32nd minute.

The veteran forward then celebrated his first goal in a Dortmund shirt by running emotionally to Dortmund manager Terzic and embraced him.

Modeste has now bagged an incredible eight goals in eleven games against Hertha Berlin.

Dortmund have now scored 10 goals in competitive fixtures this season, each of which has come from a different scorer.

Borussia Dortmund's Sébastien Haller thankful for the overwhelming support, promises to come back even stronger

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Sébastien Haller isn’t letting his recent diagnosis get him down.

The Borussia Dortmund striker pulled out of pre-season training after complaining that he was feeling unwell. After undergoing further tests, he was diagnosed with a testicular tumour.

The Ivory Coast international has now opened up about the news and promised to come back stronger.
