With that, Braithwaite will be willing to let go of the two years left on his contract before terminating it and letting him leave for free.

Barcelona however are looking to sell the Dane in order to earn enough cash to register hew signing Jules Kounde.

Meanwhile, the Danish striker has been linked with a transfer to La Liga side RCD Mallorca, but his wages could be the problem.

As reported by SportBible, Braithwaite wants to be paid more wages by RCD Mallorca than he currently is getting at FC Barcelona.

The player has been told that he has no future at the club and hasn’t been handed a squad number for the new season but prefers to stay with the Catalan giants for the coming season. Braithewaite believes he will get a chance to play if Barca sells Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Memphis Depay during the current transfer window.
