- The Blues have experienced a win, draw and defeat in their opening three games of the season
Chelsea could offload up to seven players before the close of the summer transfer window as the September 1 deadline inches closer.
It is evident Thomas Tuchel is yet to find his winning starting XI, and this manifested itself after a 3-0 defeat to Leeds United in their latest Premier League game.
While the club itself is looking to offload some players, other stars are also seeking an exit route to play for clubs that offer more time on the pitch.

Sports Brief takes a look at some players at Stamford Bridge who may not wear the famous blue badge after September 1.
1. Hakim Ziyech
The Morroco international has failed to establish a permanent spot under Thomas Tuchel and wants out. His only appearance in the league this season was as a substitute in the 3-0 loss to Leeds.
AC Milan and his former side Ajax are both interested in his services. Ajax in particular could land Ziyech in the event they lose Anthony to Manchester United.
2. Marcos Alonso
Alonso has already expressed his desire to leave Chelsea, with his preferred destination being Barcelona.
According to Sport, Barcelona would be willing to take up Alonso and some cash in exchange for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
3. Christian Pulisic
Pulisic has fresh competition for a starting place from Raheem Sterling and this new dynamic could mean the American might be ready to move on.

FootballThere were initial reports that Manchester United were interested but the Red Devils have since turned their attention to Ajax’s Anthony.
4. Trevor Chalobah
Chalobah’s place in Chelsea is not guaranteed, and the 23-year-old is reportedly keen to move elsewhere to further his career.
5. Callum Hudson-Odoi
The winger has had his bright moments as a Chelsea player that sparked interest from Bayern Munich in 2020, Odoi has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge.
The 21-year-old is yet to feature for Chelsea this season and is gradually looking like surplus to requirements at the club.
6. Ross Barkley
Barkley has struggled with form and injuries since moving to Stamford Bridge in 2018. A loan move to Aston Villa last season did not yield the desired results and it is highly unlikely the former Everton man will cement his place in Tuchel’s squad anytime soon.
7. Kepa Arrizabalaga
By now, it is clear that Arrizabalaga has lost his place as Chelsea’s number 1 goalkeeper to Edouard Mendy.

Chelsea learn their Champions League opponents
Meanwhile, the UEFA Champions League draw was released on Thursday, August 25, with Chelsea falling in Group E.
The Blues will be coming up against Serie A giants AC Milan, Salzburg, and in Group E of the competition, while Tottenham have a relatively easier group - at least on paper - as they have been grouped with last season's Europa League champions, Eintracht Frankfurt, Sporting Lisbon, and Marseille in Group D.
