- Leipzig have drawn in their first two games in the German topflight so far in the 2022/23 campaign
- German international Timo Werner is expected to play again after scoring on his debut last weekend
RB Leipzig will travel to Köpenick to take on RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga on Saturday evening.
The DFB-Pokal winners are still in search of their first victory in the German top flight this season having drawn twice in their opening two games.
They face a tricky Union Berlin side who have so far not tasted defeat after two matches.
Last season, Union Berlin lost the fourth Champions League qualification spot to Leipzig by a single point, so they will go into the game as a slice of revenge.

What the managers say:
Union Berlin coach Urs Fischer says he's looking forward to an equally-balanced game:
"Our start wasn't ideal, but we still have a real task ahead of us. have a lot of different players on offense who can decide games on their own. Despite that they're on the defensive, well organized and stand very compact.”
"Our goal is clear," he added. We've said this already, nothing has changed. At the end of the day we have to stay up. We are still a new B'liga team. Look at Mainz, Freiburg, Augsburg, they've been here a long time. But once you get there, first you've got to stay up.
Leipzig manager Domenico Tedesco said that they have a tough game at hand against Union Berlin.
"Union aren't doing anything that different this season. They are just as solid as they were in our two games last term. They lost a couple of players in the window, but they have signed players of equal strength."
