  • Cristiano Ronaldo could be heading back to the Serie A should Manchester United and Napoli enter into negotiations for the wantaway striker
  • Manchester United are interested in Napoli's Hirving Lozano and the two clubs could strike a swap deal
  • It is believed that Ronaldo is not excited about Manchester United's prospects, especially after failing to qualify for the Champions League

New reports indicate that Napoli are now ready to part ways with Hirving Lozano, who is on Manchester United's radar.

Manchester United have had a sub-par transfer window and an even poorer start to the Premier League season. Erik ten Hag could use new attackers with the club yet to replace Edinson Cavani and Jesse Lingard.

Marca reports that Napoli could let Lozano leave should the right offer come in. The Mexican joined the club from PSV in 2019. He has so far amassed 89 appearances and scored 20 goals.

Another feasible option could be a swap deal involving Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is understood to be ready to leave Manchester United this summer and join a Champions League playing club.

United will be competing in the Europa League this season which is understandably below Ronaldo's lofty standards. Napoli had been floated as one of the options Ronaldo had should he go through with pushing his exit.

Should Ronaldo join Napoli, he will be making his comeback to the Serie A, where he played for Juventus for three seasons.

Manchester United could terminate Cristiano Ronaldo's contract unless he changes his attitude

Sports Brief had earlier reported that new reports had emerged that Manchester United are looking into the possibility of terminating Cristiano Ronaldo's contract.

The head honchos at the club are worried that Ronaldo's attitude has a detriment to the squad. The striker has reportedly been very categorical that he would love to move away from the club.

However, Manchester United have rebuffed these claims as they seek to keep the Portuguese star, who is now in the final year of his two-year contract, according to a report on the Daily Express.
