David de Gea has admitted that he is to blame for Manchester United's 4-0 humiliating defeat against Brentford at the Community Stadium.
United, who lost their season opener against Brighton, could not get their campaign back on track during their visit to Brentford on Saturday, August 13, as they picked their second successive defeat of the campaign.
The Bees scored all four goals in the first half of the thrilling clash, with Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee, and Bryan Mbuemo all finding the back of the net.
Efforts by the Red Devils to score at least a consolation in the second half proved futile as the hosts held firm to claim maximum points.

Javier Hernandez is ready to play for his former club for free
Ten Hag loses first game as Man Utd manager to Brighton
FootballSports Brief had earlier reported that former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has offered to play for free for his former club as their poor transfer season continues.
Manchester United was set for a major transfer spree this summer after a lethargic season that saw them record their lowest-ever tally in history. New boss Erik ten Hag was supposed to spearhead the summer activity.
However, the club has only brought in Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez. The striking department remains a major concern, especially with Cristiano Ronaldo's future still uncertain.
