Supporters of Premier League club, Manchester United drew positives from their side's narrow defeat to Atletico Madrid in their penultimate pre-season game on Saturday, July 30.

The Red Devils have had fairly impressive pre-season preparations for the upcoming season, winning three, drawing one and losing a single game in six matches.

Although their most-recent preparatory game ended in a slim loss to La Liga giants Atletico Madrid, fans of the club singled out Christian Eriksen for praise.

The Danish playmaker made a cameo in United's loss to the Rojiblancos. He was a second-half substitute for Anthony Martial.

His brief spell on the field proved positive however could not affect the destiny of the result despite providing his characteristic tailor-measured passes into the box.
