Christian Eriksen's squad number at Manchester United has been officially announced.
The Danish playmaker, who joined United after his short-term deal with Brentford came to an end this summer, became Erik Ten Hag's second signing of the transfer window.
Eriksen has been handed the No.14 jersey for the upcoming season after his first-choice shirt number was reportedly blocked by teammate Bruno Fernandes, who previously wore the No.18 shirt.
The Mirror reports Eriksen's initial choice was No.8 which has already been taken by the Portuguese attacker, hence settling for No.14.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder succeeds United academy graduate Jesse Lingard in the no.14 shirt, who vacated the number this summer.
He was on target for the Red Devils in a behind-closed-doors preparatory game against Wrexham as Ten Hag's charges brushed aside the Welsh club.
