Eden Hazard has explained that Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker is the toughest opponent that he faced in the Premier League.

Hazard had a highly-succesful spell with Chelsea that lasted seven full seasons before moving to Real Madrid. He left the Premier League as one of the best players the league has ever seen.

The Belgian is a gifted dribbler and often finds himself on the wrong side of defenders, giving them sleepless nights with his mazy runs and quick feet. He won the Premier League Player of the season in the 2014/2015 season.

Hazard has opined that Kyle Walker was the one fullback that always gave him a hard time due to his blistering pace. Walker is one of the fastest footballer players in the world.

Speaking to ESPN, Hazard said that,

It has to be Kyle Walker, he is strong and very fast.

I’m also strong and fast, but he’s stronger and faster than me! As a right-back, he’s one of the best in the world at the moment.

Walker has been a key member of Pep Guardiola's team since joining them from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017. He has won four Premier League titles during his time at Manchester and came up against Hazard a number of times in the Premier League.

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Timo Werner is eyeing a return back to Germany.

The centre-forward, who plays for Chelsea in the English Premier League, signed for The Blues in 2020 from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig.

Reports are doing the rounds that Werner wants to leave the English side and return home, hoping to re-join RB Leipzig.
