The Danish midfielder penned a three-year deal with United last week to end speculation surrounding his future following the expiry of his deal with Brentford.
According to The Sun, Eriksen spent the second half of last season with Brentford following his Inter Milan exit after he suffered a cardiac arrest.
The former Tottenham Hotspur was forced to quit the Italian top-flight due to Serie A rules that do not permit players who have suffered heart attacks before to continue playing.

Man United snaps up Christian Eriksen for free
His stay with Brentford was short-lived as the Red Devils snapped him up on a free transfer following the expiry of his short-term deal with them.
Eriksen now appears to be familiarising himself with the Manchester weather after he was spotted in the streets of the city as he prepares to link up with his new teammates.
SunSport reports that the versatile midfielder was greeted by the almost-mythical Mancunian weather as he strolled the rainy streets with an umbrella.
This means that it won't be long from now until Man United fans get to see Eriksen pull on the red shirt ahead of the new season.
