Oshoala, who plays for Barcelona's female team, retained her crown as the best on the continent to win the award for a fifth time.
In a video posted on social media, Oshoala is seen jubilating as CAF President Patrice Motsepe announced Mane as the best African player.
Sadio Mane was winning the award for the second time after first claiming it in 2019, before COVID-19 forced a two-year hiatus.
