Brazilian defender, Dani Alves is set to join Mexican club, Pumas as a free agent after leaving Barcelona following the expiration of his short-term contract.
The 39-year-old defender at hit out at the Catalan giants after he was released unceremoniously last season but is now focused on moving forward with his career.
According to the Daily Mirror, Alves will join Pumas on a short-term deal to allow him to play regular football ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.

The former PSG and Juventus defender is set to earn a massive $100k per game for each appearance he makes for the club.
Pumas will have to take out new sponsorship deals in order to cover the deal for the Brazilian defender who has since revealed he is not signing the deal for the money.

Meanwhile, Dani Alves could face his former employers in Barcelona once he completes his move to Mexican club Pumas this summer.
According to Barca Universal, Pumas is set to face Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy match on August 7th and Dani Alves could feature in the game against his former team.
