Legendary Real Madrid defender Marcelo Vieira has been offered to Italian outfit Lazio, according to his representatives.
Marcelo brought his 15-year trophy-laden spell with Real Madrid to an end this summer and is currently unattached.
The Brazilian, who is currently on vacation, has been offered to the Serie A side as the 34-year-old seeks new pastures.
“Marcelo was proposed to Lazio and would come to Rome with great enthusiasm,” intermediary Stefano Quadri told Radio Sportiva via Football Italia.

According to his intermediary, there has been a number of offers for consideration for the seasoned defender. However, weighing the options available the Lazio move will appeal to his client.
“We are waiting for the club to call us and start the negotiations. He has another two offers, but they are from a league that is not at the same level as Serie A."
“The only certainty we have is that his vacation will end in 10 days and by the end of July he will have made a decision.”
Marcelo will be a welcome addition to Maurizio Sarri's Lazio side, who have qualified for the Europa League, owing to his rich experience in European competitions.
