The former Man City winger moved to west London in a deal worth £47.5 million to become Chelsea's first signing of the summer.
Sterling's move to Chelsea came at a time when the club needed more firepower upfront after the departure of Romelu Lukaku, who moved to Inter Milan on loan.
According to Goal, the Englishman went on to make his bow for Chelsea on Thursday, July 21, as the Blues fell to Charlotte FC in a pre-season friendly.

Raheem Sterling speaks on decision to join Chelsea
Sterling has now broken his silence on his decision to choose Chelsea over any other club.
The ex-Liverpool ace revealed the Chelsea project intrigued him and convinced him to seal the move.
While Man City secured the Premier League last season, Sterling observed Chelsea's own success made him feel the club are headed in the right direction under the tutelage of Thomas Tuchel.
"Seeing in the last two years it's four or five finals that you guys have been in, the progress, you won the Champions League and are now looking to challenge for the Premier League, it's something that intrigued me when I was having a conversation with the club," he told Chelsea TV.
