Pep Guardiola has responded to fast-growing reports of Neymar being rejected by Manchester City.
Multiple reports in France suggested that Guardiola's Man City declined the opportunity to sign Neymar with the Brazilian playmaker's future at Paris Saint-Germain hanging in the balance.
According to French tabloid Le Parisien, PSG, who are keen on landing the services of Bernado Silva offered Neymar to City, which was immediately rejected by the Premier League champions.
But responding to the transfer rumours linking Neymar to Man City, Pep Guardiola disclosed the reports were completely false although acknowledging the immense quality of the former Barcelona ace.

“I’m sorry but it’s not true. The information is not right. Neymar is an incredible player and the info I have is that he’s an incredibly nice guy. But it’s not right. Every summer Manchester City are going to buy 150 players.” Guardiola said as quoted by Mirror.
Guardiola on the other hand has augmented his attack with the purchase of precocious Norwegian centre forward Erling-Braut Haaland and Julian Alvarez following the departures of Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.
The Spaniard is currently in the United States with his team as he steps up preparations for the upcoming season with his eyes set on the elusive UEFA Champions League.
