Manchester City defender Oleksandr Zinchenko has reportedly flown to Orlando to have his Arsenal medical ahead of a stunning summer move to the Emirates.

The Ukraine international is said to have bid goodbyes to his City pals in Houston, Texas, and is currently on his way to pen a deal with rivals, Arsenal.

According to The Sun, Zinchenko's deal is believed to be worth £30million plus £2m in add-ons.

The publication claims the left-back is expected to undergo his medical within the next 24 hours ahead of his imminent Arsenal move.

It is understood that the 25-year-old will be penning a four-year deal with the Gunners as he bids for more game time under Mikel Arteta.

Man City star confirms Zinchenko's exit

Man City midfielder Rodri all but confirmed Zinchenko's looming Etihad exit with an emotional tribute to the Ukrainian.

“Oleks is not with us anymore. He’s been great as a team-mate as a player," Rodri was quoted saying.
“He deserved the best and we are going to miss him, but this is football, it continues and new players come in – we are happy for him," he added.

Meanwhile, Zinchenko's move to the Emirates will see him become the north Londoners' fifth signing of the summer.

Arteta's side have already signed high-profile players in the ongoing window, including Gabriel Jesus, who joined them from City.

Arsenal star delighted to make Emirates return

Earlier, Sports Brief reported William Saliba has revealed his desire to fight for a starting role under Mikel Arteta after his return to Arsenal.

The 21-year-old French defender was signed by the Gunners in 2019 but struggled to win over Arteta's trust.

However, the ex-Saint Etienne star is set to get a lifeline at the Emirates in the upcoming season following his return to Arsenal.
