Arsenal defender William Saliba has expressed his delight after he made a return to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Saliba was signed by the Gunners from Saint-Etienne back in 2019 but was shipped back to the French Ligue 1 after struggling to break into Mikel Arteta's first-team plan.
The 21-year-old has spent the last two seasons away on loan, only for him to return to the Emirates ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Despite his struggles in his early months with the north Londoners, Saliba has insisted that he is happy to be returning to the Premier League club.

Speaking before featuring in Arsenal's pre-season clash against Everton in Baltimore on Saturday, the Frenchman divulged that he is willing to fight for his place in Arteta's plans.
"My plan is to fight and work with the team, win as much as possible and grow more. It feels good to be back and start pre-season, to continue training and participating in friendly matches," he said as quoted by the Daily Mail.
"It's important to be here with the fans, as well as with my teammates. I hope we will enjoy good training and good matches, this which is important before the start of the season," he added.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Arsenal are closing in on a summer deal for Manchester City star Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Reports suggest that Arsenal technical director Edu is finalising personal terms with the Ukrainian.
A move to the Emirates Stadium would see Zinchenko become Arsenal's fifth signing this summer.
