Alexis Sanchez turns down an offer from Villareal

Meanwhile, Villareal suffered a huge blow in their attempt to sign a marquee striker this summer transfer window after being turned down by Alexis Sanchez Sempre Inter reports.

The Inter Milan forward said no to a formal offer from the Yellow Submarines as he does not want to see a reduction in his wages.

Sanchez has been very picky with his destination as the former Arsenal and Manchester United forward has also had offers from Sevilla, Marseille, and Galatasaray.

Edinson Cavani reveals his biggest regret

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Edinson Cavani has expressed his gratitude to the Manchester United supporters who he says showed him lots of respect from his first day at Old Trafford.

The 35-year-old had an underwhelming campaign in the 2021/2022 season scoring just 2 goals for the Red Devils in an injury-blighted season.
