New reports have now emerged that Manchester City were offered the chance to sign Neymar. Neymar's situation at Paris Saint-Germain has been uncertain, with reports linking him with a move away.
The Brazilian's huge wages have prevented clubs from outrightly declaring an interest. PSG is said to have approached Manchester City to discuss a possible deal.
Le Parisien reports that the Ligue One champions want Bernardo Silva to be included in the deal. City flatly refused the proposal.

Bernardo Silva himself has also been subject to rumours this summer, with reports linking him to a move to Barcelona. It is, however, highly unlikely that Pep Guardiola will allow another attacker to leave following the departures of Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.
Football London also reports that Chelsea re remotely interested in Neymar though no official bids have been tabled yet. Head coach Thomas Tuchel recently said that the club's priority was getting new defenders before moving to other departments. Chelsea has already signed Sterling and Koulibaly.
